Fattoria San Lorenzo is located in Central-Eastern Italy stunningly beautiful Marche region, right in the heart of the Verdicchio Dei Castelli di Jesi denomination. Not often made into natural wine, Verdicchio grapes are in reality some of the richest in personality and aging potential. The farm is headed by the charismatic yet understated vigneron Natalino Crognaletti, who started bottling his natural wines in 1995, but whose family has a generations-old viticulture and winemaking tradition. Natalino's wines are bright and uncompromising, they mirror Marche's rich terroir and are the fruit of a rigorously organic work in the vineyard – with some biodynamic practices. In the cellar, local farming tradition and Natalino’s wise touch allow for only strictly spontaneous fermentation, and the patience needed to allow wines the time to fully come into their own.
