Now led by brothers Vittorio, Gianluigi, and Alessandra, Vittorio Bera winery's heritage stretches back to 1758, when their ancestor Giovanni Battista first acquired the estate. Located in Piemonte’s Astigiano hills, an area imbued with viticulture since ancient times and renowned for its Moscato, Bera winery converted to organic agriculture in 1964 and is now comprised of about 10 hectares. No winemaking shortcuts of any kind are to be found in the cellar, where the goal is always to distill and exalt the truest spirit of terroir. Therefore only natural fermentations are allowed and the wines are never scarred by fining, filtration, or other invasive treatments and additives. Every single natural wine by Bera is a joyous love song to this ancient and beautiful land.
